June 17 - week 26 sonogram

We got to see our babies again today! They are both head down, laying side by side. They were actually both on their sides facing toward each other. Bowen's head is lower, so they are still thinking he will come out first. Kendall is just barely higher. Kendall was very busy and active during the sonogram. We actually watched her kick Bowen in the stomach several times!! And we thought Bowen was extra active all this time!

Below is the latest picture of Bowen. We were able to get another profile shot of him. His head is on the right side of the picture looking up to the left.


Kendall gave us a front shot of her face. I've drawn red arrows showing her eyes, with her nose between to the left, and her mouth below that.
The babies at this point are measuring a week ahead of my due date. Kendall weighs approx. 2 lbs, 4 oz. Bowen is measuring 2 lbs. Doctor said everything still looks good for both them and me, so we'll see the specialist again in 4 weeks.

Nursery!!!

Mom came down for a week and painted the nursery with Jenn. We also put together the cribs (thanks Ray & tina, and Mom & Dad for the cribs!), moved furniture around, and sewed curtains onto the valance. It's getting a lot easier to imagine babies in the room now!

Week 24 Prego Pic

Week 24...Yes I am getting bigger :) We go to the specialist next Wednesday, so hopefully we'll have more sonogram pictures then.
